Annually, United Way hosts the State of the Community luncheon, which brings together nearly 900 business leaders, nonprofit partners, donors, volunteers and community members in Larimer County. The State of the Community event focuses on prevalent community issues and the people or organizations that make an impact in those areas. Attendees hear from a variety of speakers with knowledge or expertise in those areas.
The 12th annual State of the Community event, to be held on June 26, 2014 at Embassy Suites in Loveland, will focus on how we, as a community, can come together to address some of the complex social issues that affect all of us, specifically relating to poverty. This collective impact model has created meaningful change and social innovation in other communities across the country. Throughout the event, attendees will hear form speakers who represent national and local perspectives of collective impact. Everyone in the community, from businesses to nonprofits to concerned citizens, can play an important role in being part of the change in Larimer County.
What does it mean to be a State of the Community Sponsor? Being a State of the Community sponsor means that your organization will demonstrate commitment to being part of lasting change as we, as a community, work towards cutting poverty in half in Larimer County by 2025. Your sponsorship will show the community that you are dedicated to seeing the county succeed.
As a State of the Community partner, your organization will, at the very least, be recognized in a video presentation and the event program. Depending on the sponsor level, it can also include up to a full page advertisement in the program, recognition on all promotional materials, which includes 5,000 invitations, and recognition in a Thank You advertisement in the Fort Collins Coloradoan, Loveland Reporter-Herald and Northern Colorado Business Report.
All sponsorships must be committed by May 15th to receive full benefits. For more information, questions or to become a sponsor, please contactHaley Katz at 970-407-7010.
