A staple in the Fort Collins community for the last twenty years, First National Bank has been running a United Way employee giving campaign for nearly as long.
Each year, more than 400 employees in Northern Colorado come together to raise funds for their local United Way agencies and have generated nearly $1.3 million in the last five years alone.
At a corporate level, First National Bank is equally supportive of United Way's efforts to make our community a great place to live, work, and play, offering a wide variety of incentives to encourage employee giving - including gift cards, a weekend getaway in Steamboat, Colorado State football tickets and more. In addition, each department or branch that has 100% of its employees participate in the campaign receives a complimentary lunch courtesy of the bank.
First National Bank is also a Cornerstone Partner for United Way of Larimer County, meaning that acorporate giftis used to fund United Way's general operations, allowing dollars raised in the community to have a larger impact. Thanks to the support of Cornerstone Partners like First National Bank, United Way of Larimer County is able to mobilize thousands of donors in support of its movement through more than 100 workplace campaigns and guarantee donors that all but 3.5% of their gift is used directly in support of local children and families, rather than covering administrative costs.
Through the generosity of Cornerstone Partners, the United Way of Larimer County team is able to generate nearly $3.6 million through workplace campaigns, as well as another $1.4 million in revenue from individual donors, which is invested in the community to help create long-term systemic change that helps local children and families succeed in school, work and life.
Special thanks to First National Bank and its employees for their continued support of our cause!
