I've lived in Larimer county since 1975, when I moved here to attend CSU. I am the Plant Chemistry Supervisor for Platte River Power Authority. I have four adult children, or five if you count my husband. No grandchildren yet, unless you count my dog.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about ensuring that people in our community have what they need to become self-sufficient and thrive. I get really excited about communicating community needs to others and inspiring their support.
What are your hobbies?
I love gardening, riding my motorcycle, and participating in community theatre as an actress, director, and technician.
What do you love most about Larimer County?
I love Larimer County's natural beauty, safety, and the friendliness of its residents.
How long have you been a United Way donor?
I've participated in workplace giving campaigns from the very beginning of my first ‘adult' job in 1980.
Why do you choose to support your community through United Way?
I have long believed that United Way is the best way to support local non-profits. I know that my donations are going to a trustworthy organization that will distribute it to other trustworthy organizations, and that the money will be used efficiently and effectively.3
