Fiberlok and its employees raised nearly $30,000 for this year's United Way campaign.
They held special events, bake sales and everyone got involved.
This year the employees chose to make Comfort Bags that would be donated to those in need through the HUB. These Comfort Bags included handmade knitted hats by an employee, handmade pillowcases and bags, hygiene supplies, fun items for guys and gals, notes of encouragement, each with a pillow donated by Denver Mattress! As soon as we brought a batch back, they gave one to a teen mother, ten to two case workers who have emergency placements for two families and one to a FAR (Family Assessment Response) Team case worker who has two new kids to find gifts for before the next day!

The whole Fiberlok team got involved, everyone participated, whether knitting hats, shopping for supplies, donating money, or putting together each comfort bag, it was a big team effort. Close to 100 volunteer hours on this project!
Huge thank you to Fiberlok's CEO Brown Abrams for his generous support. Mega thank you to Fiberlok's enthusiastic and fantastic campaign coordinator Tracey Traenkle who goes above and beyond for not only her company and co-workers, but those in need within our community. Thank you for all you do.
