We Recruit Volunteers for Agencies

The Volunteer Center Program creates a healthier, more connected community by promoting the ethic of service and being the central resource for volunteerism through collaborations.

Here are some ways United Way’s Volunteer Center can help recruit volunteers for your program.   Please check back regularly for seasonal opportunities:

• Contact Stephanie Ashley to list your volunteer opportunities and one-time event volunteer needs on our website and in our e-blasts.
• Through our Board Bank program, volunteers are trained and placed in nonprofit Board of Director positions according to the needs of the nonprofit and also the skill set and interest of the volunteers. Contact Erin Zimmermann to register your organization.

Do you need supplies for your organization?

If you have a need for office supplies and other equipment, you can submit your information to be included in the Nonprofit Wish List.  Please complete the Nonprofit Wish List Request Form and submit it to Jami McMannes.
