Take the Challenge – Be a Volunteer Reader, Tutor or Mentor

The Volunteer Center is seeking new volunteer readers, tutors and mentors as part of its work to help children succeed in our own community.  Your local United Way is partnering with United Way Worldwide’s challenge to engage one million new volunteers as readers, tutors and mentors to help improve the academic success of young people in our community and across America.

Did you know that only 85% of youth in Larimer County graduate high school?  Being a volunteer reader, tutor or mentor can help achieve significant, positive impact on the life of a child.  We all have a stake in creating a healthy, prosperous community – it starts with our children and youth.
