The CDC reports that finding healthy ways to cope with these negative feelings will make you – and our community – stronger.
Making wellness a priority takes practice, so we challenge you to commit to doing an activity every day this month that makes you feel well! You can choose to do the same activity each day, or a variety – it’s up to you! You can connect with others participating in the challenge by posting on social media and using the hashtag #LiveWellLiveUnited.
Plus, you’ll be giving back to your local community! We’ll set you up with your own personal fundraising page where your friends, family members, and colleagues can sponsor your wellness activities through a donation to the Northern Colorado COVID-19 Response Fund, which provides vital resources to local nonprofits working with people who are disproportionately affected by the crisis. As a bonus, each participant who raises $250 or more through their personal fundraising page will receive a special, limited edition Larimer United t-shirt as our way of saying “thank you!”
STEP 1: Choose a wellness activity (or activities!) that you will commit to each day in May.
STEP 2: Set up your fundraising page. Post on social media to let your friends and family know you’re taking the #LiveWellLiveUnited Challenge!
STEP 3: Track your progress on social media using the hashtags #LiveWellLiveUnited, #GenerationUnited, and #LarimerUnited.
STEP 4: Reach out to your network of friends, family, and colleagues and ask them to support you by sponsoring your wellness activities through a donation to the Northern Colorado COVID-19 Response Fund via your personal fundraising page.
STEP 5: Celebrate your success!
