Join United Way of Larimer County on October 15 for two exciting opportunities to enhance your nonprofit’s fundraising capacity! You may choose to attend one or both sessions, as well as an optional lunch reception. Both of these sessions are available at no charge to Larimer County nonprofit staff.
8:30 -11:30 a.m.
This session is designed for seasoned nonprofit development professionals seeking to improve their fundraising message, program storytelling, and donor engagement efforts. Cindy Skalicky of On Point Communications and Denny Otsuga of Rockies Venture Club will facilitate an in-depth workshop intended to strengthen presentation skills through communications best practices and compelling client and service stories.
For a small fee, attendees also have the option to attend a 1:1 session with the facilitators on October 22nd to practice their presentation and further refine their skills.
11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Please join us for a light lunch and a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the official opening of Prue’s Place, a community meeting space at the Community Impact Center. Prue’s Place is named in memory of Prudence M. Kaley, a longtime resident of Fort Collins and loyal United Way supporter. If you are attending the Pitch Academy and/or the Funders Panel, you must register for this event separately. RSVP Here
12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
