September 17, 2019
Please join us for a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony and a light lunch to celebrate the official opening of Prue’s Place, a community meeting space at the Community Impact Center. Prue’s Place is named in memory of Prudence M. Kaley, a longtime resident of Fort Collins and loyal United Way supporter.
Prue’s Place serves as the heart of the Community Impact Center’s lower level, and is available for local nonprofit organizations to use for a small fee. The lower level also serves as a “nonprofit center,” offering low-cost office space for other agencies. Furthermore, United Way is launching its shared services program later this year in the same lower level space, which will increase efficiencies and reduce duplication in the nonprofit community.
To see Prue’s Place in action and celebrate this noteworthy addition to the local nonprofit community, please RSVP below! A light lunch will be provided.
NOTE: If you are attending either of the Nonprofit Excellence Series sessions taking place on this date (Pitch Academy and/or Funders Panel) and would like to attend the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Lunch Reception, you must register for this event separately.
