Energy Resource Center is a nonprofit that has been around for nearly 40 years! The mission of ERC is to improve home energy efficiency, conserve energy, promote health, increase comfort and expand quality of life for Coloradans. The Loveland office is the newest addition to ERC. The organization is ready to start helping homes and families in Larimer, Weld, Broomfield, and Boulder Counties have safe, more comfortable, and energy efficient homes. With the recent expansion to Northern Colorado the ERC serves 21 counties in Colorado and cover over 26,000 square miles.
ERC helps income-qualified homeowners and renters make their homes safer, more comfortable and more affordable to live in. The Colorado Energy Office funds the ERC through the Weatherization Assistance Program and allows The ERC to do what they do best – The organization conducts home energy audits and, free of charge for those who qualify, make the recommended home improvements that will keep you warm and safe during the winter. They do all of the work in-house – from the energy audit to the final inspection.
