Jeff devotes 80 hours per week to FoCo Cafe because he believes in health equity and food justice. Due to his hard work and dedication, the Cafe has served just over 28,400 organic, healthy and largely locally sourced lunches to the community since opening on Thanksgiving Day 2014. He does the cooking, prep work, dishes, meetings, paperwork, and more!
Kathryn's contributions to Alternatives to Violence as a Victim Advocate include development of a shelter program for clients who are seeking shelter with a pet. Her efforts advance the knowledge of staff and volunteers, better equipping them to address multiple factors, helping keep the community out of violent environments.
Fort Collins families are better off because of Gordon's service to our community. Through his time as a volunteer and Board President, he has provided outstanding leadership, time, energy and expertise in the recent expansion to the new facility. He has given blood, sweat and tears in the daily renovation, contract negotiation, budget and fundraising.
