September 4, 2014
Following the terrible and tragic events of September 11, 2001, the U.S. Government decided to highlight the importance of being prepared for both man-made and natural disasters. Thus, National Preparedness Month was born!
We've experienced our fair share of disasters here in Larimer County. The High Park Fire and the Flood of 2013 both demonstrate the need for personal preparedness.
It may sound difficult to prepare for the unforeseen, but there are several great resources to help you and your family do just that:
Don't wait until it's too late! Start taking steps today to become PREPARED!
