What is your company's mission?

Brinkman Construction’s mission is to build relationships, create opportunities, and share success.
What is your company's community mission?
BrinkmanGives is the combined Community Impact program of Brinkman and Brinkman Construction. We’re focused on giving of our time, talent, and treasure to like-minded nonprofit organizations who are, like us, striving to build and develop stronger communities.
To strengthen the impact of our contributions, we focus on aligning our efforts with organizations heavily influenced by real estate. We believe that to truly be the change our business decisions and our community impact initiatives must be directly supportive of each other.
Tell us about your company's Employee Volunteer Program.
We believe that time is one of our most valuable resources to give our community. Every Brinkman and Brinkman Construction employee receives eight hours of paid time off a year to volunteer for organizations they are passionate about. This amounts to over 1,000 hours dedicated to our community partners! Several times a year, Brinkman employees come together as a team to have a greater impact on community projects that align with our core values.
What was your biggest volunteer accomplishment in 2018?
In support of one of our main community partners, Homeward Alliance, we closed our doors for a half day to volunteer as a company to sort and pack clothes and hygiene items for the Children in Need event the following day. Since it’s difficult for our construction teams to be away from their jobsites to volunteer, they completed a Service-to-Go project consisting of 45 diaper kits that were also given to families currently experiencing or in danger of experiencing homelessness that attended the Children in Need event.
Where we helped in 2018:
As a company, we’ve organized large volunteer events for: Volunteers of America, Homeward Alliance, Wildlife Restoration Volunteers, Loveland Housing Authority, Habitat for Humanity, and Colorado Mountain Bike Association.
In addition, staff are encouraged to volunteer on their own for organizations they’re passionate about. This includes schools, churches, and nonprofits spanning many issue areas.
