Tell us a little bit about yourself (your family, occupation, how long you’ve lived in Larimer County, etc.)
We moved to Fort Collins in January 2005 newly engaged with our two energetic dogs and excited about starting our new life together in Northern Colorado. Arizona was our home state, but now we are proud to say that Colorado is home. Justin is a CFP® and leads Davis Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, servicing a select group of families in our community and nationwide. Stephanie is a wine educator, entrepreneur and wine personality, sharing her enthusiasm for wine on her weekly iTunes podcast called Wine Two Five.
What are you passionate about?
Together we are the “Davis Duo” and we feed off each other’s energy and passions. We feel the highest priorities are personal relationship building, inspiring today’s youth, motivating and influencing others to be their best selves, and cultivating wholehearted wellness. We are also both very passionate about our community and making it a better place. We are both involved in various capacities and serve on several Non-Profit boards (Including United Way, Northern Colorado United for Youth, and the Children’s Leadership Summit).
What are your hobbies?
We live our philosophy of blending hobbies with work, and because of that, we enjoy our hobbies as much as humanly possibly. Our top tier of hobbies are wine, travel, scuba diving, reading and golfing. Justin also dedicates time to snowboarding and CrossFit, occasionally competing in CrossFit Games and Spartan Races. Stephanie makes time for running, cooking and growing her wearable hat collection. We also love to read and hear great speakers. Mostly, we collect as many experiences as we can.
What is your dream for Larimer County?
Justin serves on the United Way board because he believes in the vision of the organization in terms of making lasting, dramatic changes to the state of poverty in Larimer County. We would love to see more amazing speakers and National thought leaders. Regionally, we would love to see Larimer County offer safe, mass transit from Northern Colorado down to Denver with stops at major hubs. And, finally, we hope that Larimer County will continue to expand the trail systems to encourage more wellness and community connectivity.
How long have you been a United Way donor?
We started donating to United Way through various channels several years ago. Justin joined the United Way Board in 2015, and Stephanie became a Women Give Business Member in 2015.
Why do you choose to support your community through United Way?
We support United Way of Larimer County because of programs like Women Give that directly impact people in our community that are improving themselves. We also know that the volunteers and board members of our local United Way bring out the best of our community and support the right causes. Most importantly, we believe in the Community Impact plan for lasting change.
