My family and I relocated to Northern Colorado from West Chester, PA during the summer of 2012. We came out here so I could take a new role at Hach, which is a division of a large publicly traded company named Danaher. I've worked for Danaher since 2002 and Hach since 2012. I became the President of Hach in January 2015.
I am passionate about my family, improving the lives of others, my faith, and since joining Hach, ensuring quality water for people around the world.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, watching my kids do what they love (riding horses, performing on stage), playing tennis, and hacking through a round of golf. Both my wife and I enjoy listening to music, attending live shows, exploring Rocky Mountain National Park, and enjoying either a glass of red wine or a fresh, craft-brewed IPA.
I believe Larimer County's best days are ahead of us. I dream that every child can pursue their dreams, and do so with the building blocks of stable housing, a consistent food supply, and access to the best public education. I also believe we can build on the great foundation we have with strong corporate partners by hiring in the region and working closely with United Way and others to sustain a globally competitive workforce, accomplishing breakthrough innovation, while giving back to ensure future generations can enjoy living here as much as we do. Lastly, I believe that we can continue to invest to preserve the beauty and natural resources maintain their splendor and serve as a destination for local residents and visitors for decades to come.
I have been a United Way donor for 11 years, having first been introduced to it in 2004 when I lived near Roanoke, in Southwest Virginia.
United Way has several attributes I look for in organizations I partner with and support financially: 1) Transparency; 2) Accountability; 3) Metrics that demonstrate impact & results; 4) Sustainable processes; 5) Passionate people working to improve people's lives. I also love their simple, powerful motto: Give, Advocate, Volunteer...Live United.
