Tell us a little bit about yourself (your family, occupation, how long you’ve lived in Larimer County, etc.):
My name is Amanda, and I'm the Communications and Public Involvement Director for the City of Fort Collins. Prior to the City, I was the Marketing and Branding Manager for Odell Brewing Company. I am also a Colorado State University alumnus, and have lived in the Fort Collins area for just over 18 years!
What are you passionate about?
I love people, the outdoors and sharing stories. Whether it's with a paintbrush, a photograph or in writing, I love creative expressions that people can connect with.
What are your hobbies?
I enjoy food (cooking and eating it), craft beer, live music and art. My husband and I, along with our four kids, also love to travel and camp.
What is your dream for Larimer County?
I would love to see this region continue to thrive as it grows, maximizing the positive impact on the quality of life for its residents while minimizing the environmental impact. I want to see people caring for one another, sharing ideas and giving back.
How long have you been a member of Generation United?
I have been a member for a few years now.
Why do you think it’s important for young professionals in Larimer County to give back?
This is an amazing place to live, work and play. Giving back will ensure that it stays that way for our future generations.
Why do you choose to support your community through Generation United and United Way?
I just love this community! Generation United and United Way can help connect people to causes that are close to their hearts.
