Mary Francis is a WomenGive Milestone Business Member who is passionate about empowering women and families in her community. Raised by her mother, she is a first generation Colorado State University graduate and has experienced first-hand the challenges that come with the lack of support for education and quality childcare. She is committed to strengthening her community through her business, Francis Home Mortgage, and her decades of volunteer work. She is honored to serve as Co-Chair and excited to help secure the future of WomenGive and the impact it makes in Northern Colorado. Mary lives in Fort Collins with her husband, Kevin, and their nine-year-old son and daughter.
Amanda Miller’s family has a long history in Northern Colorado, with a family business established in Greeley almost 100 years ago. After a childhood spent around the country and world with the Air Force, Amanda attended Colorado State earning a degree in Recreation and Tourism. She worked at the Downtown Business Association for almost a decade following graduation. Eight years ago she launched a small business, The Place Setting Company: Events and Consulting. The Place Setting Company works regionally in Northern Colorado with organizations on community programs, business partnerships, development and fundraising. Amanda supports programs that empower, serve and educate including WomenGive, WISH, Junior League, Leadership Fort Collins, the Food Bank for Larimer County and Junior Achievement. She was a participant in “50 for Colorado” – a Colorado University program in 2007, recognized as a member of the 2008 BizWest “40 Under Forty” program and as the Young Professional of the Year by the Fort Collins Chamber of Commcerce in 2012. Amanda loves traveling, community events, concerts and theater, collecting dishes and celebrating all things in life.
