My husband and I moved to Fort Collins from the Sarasota, FL area in October of 2008. We have two girls. Megan is 21 and Summer is 17. Megan is a student at Front Range Community College, and we just got word that Summer was accepted to CSU in the Fall! GO RAMS! My husband, David, owns and runs Colorado Millwork and Trim, and I am a licensed Realtor, working for The Group as the Referral Coordinator in the Relocation Department.
What are you passionate about?
My heart is with Pathways Hospice. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Pathways Hospice and am the Chair for the Outreach and Fund Development Committee, there. My family was personally touched by this amazing organization and I show my gratitude for them by serving on the Board. My other passion is for the Colorado Avalanche! We're a hockey-loving family!
What are your hobbies?
I am a long-time knitter with lots of projects I am working on. I, also, enjoy road cycling, camping, hiking, entertaining, watching EVERY Colorado Avalanche game that I can, and enjoying our fabulous Colorado craft beers!
What do you love most about Larimer County?
Larimer County is truly a gem in the State of Colorado. What I love most is the bounty of truly four-season activities here, the tremendous quality of life we enjoy, and the wonderful people!
How long have you been a United Way donor?
I have donated to United Way, continuously through The Group, since 2011. But have given previously through other companies I have worked for, as well.
Why do you choose to support your community through United Way?
United Way makes a positive impact on the communities it serves and I respect this organization for its long history of service, support and social change.
I am a proud supporter of the non-profit organizations that make a positive impact on my community. We all should feel the civic and social responsibility to give back to the community with our time, talents or funds, whenever we can. It makes the world a better place for all of us!
Thanks to Kathleenand thousands of donors like her, we are creating opportunities for a better life for all people in Larimer County.
