While it seems like summer has just begun, the school year is approaching quickly! There are several local organizations who are already working hard to collect school supplies that will be distributed to kindergarten through 12th grade students in need. Having the right school supplies helps a child feel more prepared and confident in the classroom which can lead to improved academic success. If you would like to donate or receive school supplies please work with the following agencies to help create a strong educational foundation for Larimer County youth.
Collecting school supplies on Friday, July 31st and Saturday, August 1st from 10 am - 2 pm at the Walmart located at 4625 South Mason Street, Fort Collins, CO 80525.

Collecting donations on Tuesday, August 4th from 8 am - 1 pm in the gymnasium at Conrad Ball Middle School - 2660 Monroe Avenue, Loveland, CO 80538. For a list of school supplies needed please click here.
*The Thompson Education Foundation is also looking for volunteers to put together the school supply backpacks for students! If you are interested in helping please click here to see shift times and sign up.
Grade K-12 students needing school supplies can apply for assistance at the Salvation Army, appointments will be held July 20th through July 30th. Call 970-207-4472 or walk-in at 3901 South Mason Street, Fort Collins, CO 80525 to schedule an appointment.
Friday, August 7th from 9:00am - 6:00pm at the Northside Aztlan Community Center located at 112 East Willow Street, Fort Collins, CO 80524.
Qualifying K-12 Poudre School District students will receive a backpack filled with school supplies free of charge during this event. Supplies will only be distributed on August 7th and unfortunately no backpacks can be reserved for people who cannot attend that day.
To receive supplies, each child must be present. Parent/guardian must bring a photo ID and one of the following documents:
