Grants
United Way of Larimer County directs funding and resources to local nonprofit organizations serving our most impacted communities, to achieve significant changes in the areas of Youth & Education, Financial Stability, Community Engagement and Nonprofit Excellence. In general, we do not provide direct services and instead focus on supporting nonprofits that have an impact in Larimer County.
Shared Services
At United Way of Larimer County, we know that nonprofit organizations are vital to creating and maintaining a vibrant, resilient community. The Shared Services program delivers high-quality, professional back-office services to nonprofit organizations at below-market rates. This program provides an opportunity to place operational tasks in the hands of a trusted professional while maximizing operational efficiencies. Currently, the Shared Services program offers human resources support, graphic design, grant writing, and AmeriCorps VISTA (through a partnership with United Way of Weld County).
Nonprofit Excellence Series
United Way of Larimer County’s Nonprofit Excellence Series provides free and low-cost training and technical assistance for local nonprofit staff and volunteers. Local industry experts, including some United Way staff, provide coaching and instruction designed to promote alignment with nonprofit best practices in a variety of subject areas, with a focus on grant readiness, equity, data infrastructure, and board training & development.
