United Way of Larimer County directs funding and resources to local nonprofit organizations serving our most impacted communities, to achieve significant changes in the areas of Youth & Education, Financial Stability, Community Engagement and Nonprofit Excellence. In general, we do not provide direct services and instead focus on supporting nonprofits that have an impact in Larimer County.

Shared Services

At United Way of Larimer County, we know that nonprofit organizations are vital to creating and maintaining a vibrant, resilient community. That’s why we’re always on the lookout for innovative solutions that can help organizations like yours meet local needs and achieve excellence in your work. We created the Shared Services program to maximize operational efficiencies through collaboration and partnership with other nonprofits.

Nonprofit Excellence Series

United Way of Larimer County’s Nonprofit Excellence Series provides free and low-cost training for Larimer County nonprofit professionals to support their work through education and professional development. Local industry experts, including some United Way staff, provide coaching and instruction in a variety of topics, including fundraising, cause-based marketing, outcome evaluation, volunteer management, and more. Facilitation of the Nonprofit Excellence Series training sessions take place virtually or in-person and are open to all Larimer County nonprofit staff and volunteers.
