United Way of Larimer County (UWLC) partnered with United Way of Weld County (UWWC) to house the NoCO AmeriCorps Project, enabling capacity-building within nonprofits and other community organizations throughout northern Colorado.
NoCO AmeriCorps Project members commit to a year of service, building capacity for local organizations that fight illiteracy, improve health services, foster economic development, and assist low-income communities.
The NoCO AmeriCorps Project secures members through a federal grant program. By partnering with this project, agencies bypass the headache of federal grant management and reap the benefits of hosting an AmeriCorps member.
