United Way of Larimer County is working with organizations in Larimer County to help serve the community by meeting an individual’s essential needs and providing organizations with the resources they need to continue serving the community. Together we have created a list of the most needed items for these organizations and individuals. ALL ITEMS MUST BE NEW AND UNOPENED.*
*With an exception for tents, backpacks, sleeping bags, tarps, towels, and jackets; these items MUST be in good condition, washed or disinfected before donation. This will help us to ensure the safety of all individuals handling donations.
While the CDC does not consider home-crafted masks to be effective personal protective equipment inside our clinical environments or for those caring directly for people with COVID-19, nonprofit agencies, and staff in nonclinical areas of medical providers are asking for home-crafted masks.
This is where you can help! Our partners at Kaiser Permanente and Banner Health developed step-by-step instructions for making masks at home. Please follow these instructions and consider making masks to donate. You may also watch an instructional video on YouTube. Your time and talents will be much appreciated and will be accepted at the UWLC Donation Drop-off Center!
Service to Go projects are a great way to make
a difference in the community at any time. people are in need of resources at this time and you can help provide bagged meals, activity kits, and more.
