United Way of Larimer County (UWLC) partnered with United Way of Weld County (UWWC) to house the NoCO AmeriCorps Project, enabling capacity-building within nonprofits and other community organizations throughout northern Colorado.

NoCO AmeriCorps Project members commit to a year of service, building capacity for local organizations that fight illiteracy, improve health services, foster economic development, and assist low-income communities.

The NoCO AmeriCorps Project secures members through a federal grant program. By partnering with this project, agencies bypass the headache of federal grant management and reap the benefits of hosting an AmeriCorps member. Click here to learn more about UWWC’s NoCO AmeriCorps Project updates.

Azia Gilbert, NoCO AmeriCorps Project Coordinator with UWWC, will host a virtual presentation, including:

  • An overview of the NoCO AmeriCorps Project
  • Details about what AmeriCorps members can do for your organization
  • How your organization can apply to become a project host site
  • Eligibility requirements
  • Application process
