June is LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer) Pride Month! This month commemorates the Stonewall Uprising in June of 1969, a tipping point in the Gay Liberation Movement and what led to the creation of Pride. Celebrations include pride parades/marches, parties, workshops, movie screenings, talks, concerts, and more.
Celebrated around the world, the intention is to honor the achievements the LGBTQ community has gained towards equality. While June is the most popular month to celebrate Pride, many cities, states, or countries celebrate at different times of the year.
AS AN ORGANIZATION LED AND SUPPORTED BY MEMBERS OF THE LGBTQ COMMUNITY, UNITED WAY OF LARIMER COUNTY SUPPORTS A LARIMER UNITED THAT IS INCLUSIVE AND WELCOMING FOR ALL.

- Love is Love Loveland Pride March

Celebrate our LGBTQIA+ community at this inclusive, affirming event for Larimer County’s LGBTQIA+ community members of all ages and allies. The meeting point is at the intersection of E. 8th St & north Cleveland Ave (South of the Safeway parking lot). Afterward, community members are invited to gather at Loveland City Hall and Foote Lagoon Amphitheater at 12PM for a variety of speakers and readings of inclusive children’s books. A fundraiser for SPLASH LGBTQIA+ Youth at The Grange, hosted by Kevin Dumont. Live music by Rotten Reputation, Glacierface, Hotel wifi, Racoon Pit, and Gone Full Heathen. Enjoy an aerial show by Fort Collins Circus, and comedy by Jade Rose. (More info here)
- Blooming Block Party Benefit for SPLASH LGBTQIA+ Youth

Buti yoga class kicks off at 5pm and is followed by food trucks, lawn games, community connections, a circus showcase st 6:30pm, and some free and sliding scale events to wind down the evening if you choose! (More info here)
- Pride Ride with Trek Bicycles

Join Trek Bicycles Fort Collins and ride for Pride! Join Trek on Sunday, June 27 for a ride to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community. Everyone is welcome at this Pride Ride, so bring your family, neighbors, coworkers, and friends. To join, meet at Trek Bicycle Fort Collins South at 9 am and ride for about 1 hour. Bring your bike, helmet, lights, and hydration. Masks are required before and after the ride. (More info here)

- Cornhole for the Community Fundraiser Tournament

Participate in a one-day, double-elimination cornhole event with amazing prizes while supporting a northern Colorado LGBTQ community organization! 80% of all funds raised will be donated to SPLASH, a local nonprofit serving LGBTQIA+ youth, and their families.
- Qmmunity Rainbow Swim
Tuesdays all summer, All Ages, 6 – 8 PM, Mulberry Pool (Closed to the public)
#Qmmunity Rainbow Swim is a partnership with the Recreation Dept City of Fort Collins, SPLASH LGBTQIA+ Youth, Eclectic, & NoCoSafeSpace. All bodies and all types of families are welcome.
