Why Shared Services?

At United Way of Larimer County, we know that nonprofit organizations are vital to creating and maintaining a vibrant, resilient community. That’s why we’re always on the lookout for innovative solutions that can help organizations like yours meet local needs and achieve excellence in your work. We created the Shared Services program to maximize operational efficiencies through collaboration and partnership with other nonprofits.

In order to operate successfully, nonprofits need professional back-office services, but many organizations lack the budget and expertise to carry out these functions effectively. Although necessary, services such as human resources, graphic design, and grant writing can be costly and require nonprofits to take time away from focusing on what matters most – supporting and strengthening our community.

That’s where Shared Services can help!

WHAT IS SHARED SERVICES?

United Way of Larimer County’s Shared Services program delivers high quality, professional back-office services to nonprofit organizations at below-market rates. This program provides an opportunity to place operational tasks in the hands of a trusted professional, allowing you and your staff to direct your time and attention toward making an impact in our community.

As a participant in Shared Services, your organization will benefit from specialized expertise, new opportunities for collaboration and engagement, a variety of tools and resources designed to increase your efficiency and effectiveness, and access to technologies that might otherwise be unaffordable or unavailable.

“The program saved time and money, but more importantly, it gave me peace of mind because I know we’re getting the right answers”

LeAnn Massey

Executive Director, Respite Care, Inc.

“The combination of one-on-one HR consulting and the group training has really proven to be a valuable asset and improved our HR department.”
